Carassauga: May 22,23,24 2020 in Mississauga
Carassauga is a three-day cultural event showcasing over 70 countries at different pavilions throughout Mississauga. Travel the world without leaving the city. In each pavilion you will find exotic foods, entertainment and the culture of the country you are visiting.
Admission is $10 for an advance Carassauga passport or $12 at the door gives you unlimited access to all 29 pavilions all weekend long plus free ridership on MiWay buses during festival hours. Children 12 and under are free.
Carassauga is an incorporated non-profit volunteer community organization, celebrating its 35th Anniversary in 2020. This year in 2020, Carassauga will be held during May 22-24 and Philippines will be hosted at 5600 Rose Cherry Pl in Mississauga, ON
ADOBO FESTIVAL: JUNE 20, 2020 at the 1 Esplanade Park, Pickering!
A bigger and better Philippine festivity brought to you by Filipino Canadian Heritage Resource in Durham (FCHRD)!
Expect a whole day of fun to be kicked off by World Vision’s Global 6K run. It will be followed by the flag raising ceremony to be graced by city officials and community leaders.
The Philippine Heritage Band (PHB) will join the festivities for the very first time and they will lead the parade with IPEN models around the park. SIPAT photographers will be showcasing their latest photo exhibit. Be ready for an adobo cook off competition too.
And as always, you can expect tons of food choices, entertainment and a night market! Ano pang hahanapin nyo? Tara na at makisaya sa Adobo Festival!
